This old hat has been roaming up and yonder these parts for a good long while and is here to help you with your adventures in ol' Moab. Whether it's advice on how to deal with the locals or back roads, you can count on me to steer you straight.
Hike
Delicate Arch Hike 3 mi round trip, ~500 ft gain, no shade. Go for sunset and bring a headlamp for the walk back.
Mesa Arch Hike Half-mile loop. Famous sunrise shot; expect a crowd with tripods if you go at dawn.
Corona Arch Hike 3 mi round trip along the Potash Road. Short cable and ladder section. Bowtie Arch is next to it.
Fisher Towers Hike Off Highway 128. Trail is ~4.5 mi round trip; the towers glow red late in the day.
Grandstaff Canyon (Morning Glory Arch) Hike Creek-side canyon walk, ~4.5 mi round trip, shaded for much of it. Good hot-day option.
Viewpoint
Dead Horse Point Overlook Viewpoint Sunrise is the move. Paved path from the parking lot, five minutes.
Scenic drive
Slickrock Trail (Sand Flats) Scenic drive Legendary mountain bike loop. If not riding, the Sand Flats road itself is a scenic drive with campsites.
Highway 128 River Road Scenic drive Follows the Colorado River through the canyon toward Castle Valley. Pull-offs everywhere.
Food & drink
Moab Diner Food & drink Green chile everything. Breakfast before an early start.
Moab Brewery Food & drink Post-hike burgers and beer. Busy at dinner; go early.
